Hi, I'm David,

I grew up in Birmingham, AL, playing soccer, basketball, baseball, football, running cross country, and playing ultimate frisbee. But athletics are not the only things I love; I enjoy music and play several instruments, and I love working with wood, grilling out, and fixing bicycles in my spare time.



In August 2010, I married my beautiful wife, Laura, who is currently finishing a dual master's degree in English composition and rhetoric at Auburn University. We have an energetic Brittany Spaniel puppy named Louis, who is becoming a fantastic running partner. We love playing games together, making new friends, riding bicycles, hiking, camping, and just generally being outside. 



We are excited about the future, and cannot wait to see what the coming years have in store.
